Service log

Everything you record stays on this device.

Service notes: Flipper coil FL-15411 on assembly A-15205-L-4, fed through J109-5, fuse F101 (3A S.B.). Two windings share the lugs: the heavy power winding that throws the flipper and the fine hold winding that keeps it up once it has reached the end of its stroke. Measure between the lugs, game off: about 4.2 / 145 Ω, power winding / hold winding (vendor). A hold winding that reads open gives a flipper that fires and drops back; a shorted power winding blows fuse F101 (3A S.B.) and can take its driver transistor on the Fliptronics board with it. A weak or lazy flipper is the end-of-stroke switch first, then a worn sleeve, a bent plunger or a loose coil stop. Never oil the plunger or the sleeve. A6 Flippers
