Service notes: Measure across the two lugs, game off: about 14.5 Ω (forum). Near 0 Ω is a shorted coil that blows fuse F105 (3A S.B.); open is a dead coil. Then the diode across the lugs, the driver transistor Q78 on the driver board, and the connector pin J130-4. A coil that locks on is the transistor, not the coil. Never oil the plunger or the sleeve.
